Girindra Sharma Memorial Handball meet at Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: Under the aegis of Golaghat District Handball Association in association with Assam Handball Association Girindra Sharma Memorial All Assam Inter District ( Boy's) Handball Tournament started yesterday at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Golaghat. Total sixteen teams from different parts of the State have participated in the tournament. In the inaugural match between Golaghat and Nagaon, both the teams played very well and at last it ended with a draw. Assam Handball Association general secretary Uttam Brahma has stated that the Girl's Sub Junior Inter District Handball Tournament will be held at Makum in Tinsukia from January 19.
