Golap Rabha felicitated by Krira Bhrati

GUWAHATI: Star body builder from Assam Golap Rabha was felicitated today by the Krira Bhrati in a simple function held at the AOA Conference hall, RG Baruah Sports complex here today. Rabha was handed over a xapi, gamocha, Xarai and a citation.

In a brief speech the body builder said, “Body building now is one of the most popular game in the state. The game just needs little patronization from the government.”

Rabha recently won two back to back international titles in the form of Mr Universe and Mr World. The body builder, who is already qualified for professional body building competition, now started preparation for two more major events- Arnold Classic and Mr Olympiad.

Commenting on his performance in the recently concluded international events Rabha said, “Most of the occasions I have to work alone to improve my skills as the number of experts are very limited in the region. I am happy with my performance and in future if I get little assistance from the government I can do much better.”

Although the bodybuilder won two back to back international titles but he is still waiting cash incentive from the government.

Among other present in the function was Dean of LNIPE Biswajit Basumatary, the president of Krira Bharati Amal Deka and few other officials of this organization.
