Government to prioritize sports sector: CM Pema Khandu

Itanagar: Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday reiterated his government’s commitment to prioritize the sports sector in the state. Khandu’s assertion came when 16 kick boxers from the state under the banner of Kickboxing Association of Arunachal (KAA) Arunachal called on him at his office here.

The chief minister said his government would give its best for development of all sports in the state and lauded the KAA’s contribution in development of Kick boxing. He lauded the achievements of the players who brought laurels to the state in various national and international championships.

Khandu extended his best wishes to the players from Arunachal who will be participating in the Wako Indian Open International Kick boxing Tournament-2020 slated to held in New Delhi from February 9 to 13. The KAA during the call on gave away appreciation letter to Khandu and also presented him a Kick boxing Jersey of the Association.
