Guwahati City FC, New Star win in the C Division Football League

GUWAHATI: Guwahati City FC and New Star Club won their respective matches in the C Division Football League of the Guwahati Sports Association held at the Nehru Stadium here today. In the Group A of the C Division, Guwahati City FC defeated Royals Club 2-0. Manjit Taro scored a brace for Guwahati City FC. In another match, New Star Club defeated Arambag Club 2-0. Mahatma Bongrum scored both the goals for New Star. In the Group B of the B Division, Guwahati FC got a walkover against Panbazar Boys Club while Rising Eleven and Sporting Union played a 1-1 draw.
