Guwahati City FC starts Football School in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Guwahati City FC (GCFC) expanded its grassroots Football training facility in the state with new training center at the International School, Nalapara, Sarusajai. The school was formally inaugurated on Thursday. With a view to provide training and scout talented kids, GCFC has started setting up Football Schools across the state. Already they started two schools at Rowta and Biswanath Chariali. The city based school, which started functioning yesterday, has now 50 kids from 4 to 15 years age and they are being trained by AIFF licensed coach Bitupan Sonowal. Kids from the school is also participating in the ongoing Greater Guwahati Baby League.
