Guwahati City FC to face Manipur outfit

GUWAHATI: Guwahati City FC (GCFC) will play in the forthcoming qualifying round of the Indian Women football League which will kick-off in Delhi from April 1. Guwahati City FC are placed with The Young Welfare club of Manipur, Ara FC of Gujarat and Golajo FC from Himachal Pradesh in the four-team qualifying round group and they will start their campaign on April 1 against The Young Welfare club. The preparatory camp of the team is currently going on in Lakhra under the supervision of coach Bidhan Das. Das said that the club will field U-18 squad to gather experience and have exposure to senior events.
