Guwahati Lawn Tennis Association donates Rs 25k in CM fund

GUWAHATI: The Guwahati Lawn Tennis Association (GLTA) today donated Rs 25,000 in Chief Minister's Relief Fund as a gesture of solidarity towards the government's fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. GLTA President Kalyan Kumar Das and General Secretary Bhaskar Sarma today met Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma in his office chamber and handed over the cheque on behalf of the organization. They also extended their heartiest congratulations to the newly elected Chief Minister and expressed hope that under his leadership the state can rise as strong force at the national and international level in the field of sports and there will be unparalleled developments in sports and games in the State.
