Inter Command Civilian Football Tournament Held

Tezpur: Air Force Station Jorhat hosted 16th edition of ‘Indian Air Force Inter Command Civilian Football Tournament from December 17 to 21. The event was declared open by Air Commodore SK Verma, Vishist Seva Medal, Air Officer Commanding Air Force Station, Jorhat in an impressive opening ceremony. Altogether eight teams from all commands of IAF participated in the tournament. The final match was played between the teams of Eastern Air Command and Training Command. The team from Training Command emerged as winner.

The tournament is part of the various annual sporting events conducted across the country towards developing sporting spirit among the civilian employees of the IAF and to provide them the opportunity to excel in sports.
