Inter District Wushu Championship: Assam Police, Golaghat, Dibrugarh finish top

Guwahati: The Sub Junior, Junior and Senior All Assam Inter-District Wushu Championship concluded at the Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan Indoor Stadium at Guwahati yesterday. Around 750 players from 24 affiliated districts participated in the meet.

In the senior category Assam Police, Kamrup(M) and Golaghat bagged the top three positions. Assam Police collected 18 medals including 14 gold while Kamrup (M, 3-1-4) and Golaghat (2-2-5) took 8 and 9 medals respectively. In the Junior category Golaghat, which won 10 medals (4-4-2), finished first, Baksa (4-1-4) and Kokrajhar (3-4-1) came second and third respectively. Meanwhile in the Sub Junior category Dibrugarh (12-9-6) took first position, Kamrup (M,11-3-7) finished second while Biswanath (4-2-4) bagged the third spot.
