GUWAHATI: The soccer fans of the city would miss the live-action of the next ISL match between NEUFC and FC Bengaluru as the match will be held closed-door and spectators will not be allowed to watch the game. The decision was taken keeping in mind the protest against CAA which Assam is witnessing for the last several days. The last game between NEUFC and Chennaiyin FC in the city was earlier postponed for an indefinite period as it was not held in Guwahati because of the same reason. The NEUFC sources said, “Due to security reason it was decided not to allow spectators in this game and kick-off time of the match will likely to prepone too.” As per the earlier schedule, the match was supposed to begin from 7-30PM at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium.
