GUWAHATI: Jorhat and Bongaigaon entered into the next round of the RG Baruah Inter District Cricket tournament beating Tinsukia and Barpeta respectively today. Jorhat won against Tinsukia by 7 wickets while Bongaigaon beat Kokrajhar by a single wicket. Silchar, NFRSA, Tezpur and Nagaon are the other four teams which also booked next round berth earlier.
Brief scores: Upper Assam Zone (Venue – Jorhat): Tinsukia 85 (33.2 overs), Darshan Agarwal 25; Jorhat 86/3 (27.2 overs), Aryan Kashyap 26.
Lower Assam Zone (Venue-Barpeta):
Kokrajhar 115 (30.1 overs), Proomit Sen 26, Bishal Chetry 3-25; Bongaigaon 119/9 (34.2 overs), Jayesh Harlalka 23, Bicky Kahok 4-20.
