Junior Boys & Girls Boxing Championship In Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: The Golaghat District Amateur Boxing Association is going to organize East Zone Sub-junior Boys & Girls Boxing Championship under Boxing Federation of India (BFI) at Golaghat from March 24 to 27.

In a statement secretary of Golaghat district Amateur Boxing Association Anjar Hussain said that the meet would be held at Probin Gogoi Indoor stadium in Golaghat, where participants from Meghalaya, Sikkim, West Bengal would be took part. The aim of the boxing championship is to provide a plateform to encourage the boxers in the region.

For smooth conduct of the championship an organizing committee was formed with Bitupan Saikia as president, Paresh Gogoi as working president, Biren Gogoi and Mrinaljyoti Nath as secretary. Chief minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal will take part as chief guest in inaugural programme where Mr. Universe Golap Rabha and Kushal Changmai will also attend.
