Kanan Borgohain of Lakhimpur bags Gold Medal in All India Arm Wrestling Championship

LAKHIMPUR: Kanan Borgohain of Lakhimpur has brought laurel to district by bagging gold medal in senior right arm men 95kg category of the All India Arm wrestling championship held in Talkotra stadium, New Delhi. The event was organized by Rainbow Classic in connection with Premier Bodybuilding Championship 2020.

Kanan Borgohai is the son of Madhab Borgohain and Bhabani Baruah, resident of CD Road, Maidamia near North Lakhimpur town. At present Kanan is preparing for upcoming all India arm wrestling panja league to be held on February 28-29 at Tyagraj Stadium in New Delhi. He secured gold medals in national arm wrestling championship in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 too.
