Karbi Anglong Sports Association (KASA) Stadium Test Event held
Hamren: The Karbi Anglong Morning start V/s Asaduzzaman Sports Club, Bangladesh friendly football match played held at Karbi Anglong Sports Association (KASA) Stadium complex Diphu on Thursday.
KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang extends to a warm and heartiest welcome to the much awaited Grand Opening and Test Event of the KASA Stadium on Thursday.
We bring you an exciting exhibition Football Match to be played between the reigning Champions of Assam State Premier League, Karbi Anglong Morning Star Football Club and the Asaduzzaman Sports Club, Bangladesh.
And, as a Special Guest Appearance, we also present to you India’s Soccer Star and former Captain of Indian Football team, Mr Baichung Bhutia! Thank you for sparing your precious time to be with the special occasion. Said”, Ronghang.
However,” We are grateful to the Central Government, and to the Hon’ble Finance Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, under the leadership of our Hon’ble Chief Minister Sjt Sarbananda Sonowal, for enabling us to have one of the best Sports facilities and Stadium grounds in Northeast India, here in Diphu. This is a gift to you, to the people of Karbi Anglong.
As part of our Government’s program to bring fast-paced and all-round development in Karbi Anglong, I am also extremely happy to announce that through the Govt of Assam Finance Minister’s Special Package, we are developing mini stadiums with galleries, and Indoor Stadiums along with Auditoriums in all the 26 MAC Constituencies under Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council. Very soon, our youths from every nook and corner will have stadium facilities in their respective MAC constituencies.
It is my earnest hope that through these facilities our youths will excel in sports, and pursue professional sports as a serious career. I give my assurance that we will continue to provide further necessary facilities like professional training, and other logistical support to help our youths develop more confidence stated.CEM Tuliram Ronghang.
The match started at 7:30 pm and in the second half 38 minutes itself, Jersey no 10 Shree Khrisna of Asaduzzaman Sports Club, Bangladesh scored his first goal against to Karbi Anglong Morning Start FC, in the ending Asaduzzaman Sports Club, Bangladesh won the friendly test match of KASA test event after defeating by one goal to Karbi Anglong morning start Fc.
The friendly football test event was inaugurated by former Captain of Indian Football team, Mr Baichung Bhutia and Hon’ ble Assam State Minister Piyush Hajarika and all the KAAC EMs, MACs and dignitaries were present on the football match.
