Khelo India Youth Games: Opening day to witness 3 Events

GUWAHATI: Khelo India Youth Games will kick off in Guwahati on January 9 with three events-Kabaddi, Gymnastics and Volleyball. There will be altogether 20 events in this 14-day competition which will conclude on Jan 22.

The final schedule of Khelo India is released on Saturday. Around 15 venues of the city will be used to host the different events were around 10,000 players and officials from the different parts of the country are expected to take part.

20 evens which will be the part of the forthcoming Games are Archery, Athletics, Badminton, Basketball, Boxing, Cycling, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Judo, Kabaddi, Kho kho, Lawn Bowl, Shooting, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, volleyball, Weightlifting, and Wrestling.
