Kunal Saikia to lead Assam

GUWAHATI: Wicketkeeper Kunal Saikia will lead Assam in the forthcoming Vijay Hazare Cricket which will begin in Ranchi from December 8. Assam Cricket Association selected 16 members team for the championship. Assam will face Goa in their opening game on December 8.

The squad: Kunal Saikia (capt), Saahil Jain, Sib Sankar Roy, Denish Das, Roshan Alam, Amlanjyoti Das, Mukhtar Hussain, Riyan Parag, Rishav Das, Pritam Das, Ranjeet Mali Rahul Singh, Rajjakuddin Ahmed, Sarupam Purkayastha, Arup Das and Wasiqur Rahman. Head coach: Ajay Ratra. Coach: Stuart Binny. Assistant coach cum Manager: Salil Sinha.
