Lakhimpur team declared for All Assam Yoga Sport Championship

LAKHIMPUR: The twenty five member Lakhimpur district team to participate in the All Assam Yoga Sport Championship was declared recently.

As per the declaration, the male participants of the team are Kaushik Borah, Bhaskar Jyoti Chutia, Manash Pratim Das, Dhyandeep Mahanta, Gaurab Baruah, Utpal Gogoi, Hemanta Borah, Chitta Ranjan Saikia, Jyotish Chetia and Chandan Chutia while Violina Das, Intisar Israt, Pallabi Borah, Rumi Borah, Bishmoyee Madhukalya, Parismita Gogoi, Dharitri Baruah, Nayanmoni Hazarika and Bristi Chetia are female participants.

The event will be held in Nagaon under the supervision of Assam Yoga Association under the aegis of Nagaon District Yoga Sport Association from September 7 to 9. National level yoga referees Azad Hazarika, Tribeni Gogoi and Navalakhi Gogoi will participate in the event as referees. Bedakanta Mahanta was selected as coach of Lakhimpur district team while Bhadreswar Das as manager.
