Lakhimpur's Ashim Das Takes 9 Wickets For 1 Run

GUWAHATI: Ashim Das of Lakhimpur entered into the record book today for his magnificent performance in a JK Baruah tie at the Nehru Stadium here today. The bowler picked up 9 wickets in an innings giving away only one run. Lakhimpur also won the match by a huge margin of an innings and 133 runs.

Electing to bat, Udalguri were bundled out for just 7 runs in 29 balls in their first innings. Ashim bowled 2.5 overs to grab 9 wickets. Later, Lakhimpur scored 200 runs in their first innings. Udalguri struggled in the second innings also and were bowled out 60.
