Later goal gives ARC full points in Bordoloi Trophy Football championship

GUWAHATI: A late goal helped Assam Regimental Centre (ARC) of Shillong to earn full points in the 66th Bordoloi Trophy Football championship held at the Nehru stadium here today. In the group ‘B’ match the side today defeated local outfit Sunrise club by a solitary goal. The all important goal of the match was scored by Jalen in the injury time of the game.

Assam Regimental Centre looked much better side then their opponent in the game and most of the time they dominated the proceeding. There were many occasions when Assam Regimental Centre reached close to score but missed the target unfortunately.

However just before the final whistle Jallen managed to beat the opponent goalkeeper with nice a nice placing. His side was earned a corner kick when the match was in 2nd minutes of injury time and Jallen nicely placed it inside the net to ensure full points for his team from the game.
