GUWAHATI: OILFC stormed into the semifinal of the 67th Bordoloi Trophy Football Championship defeating Morigaon FC 5-0 in their second group League game at Morigaon today.

In another game at the Judges Field in Guwahati, Assam State Electricity Board Spots Club (ASEBSC) took them close to the semi final beating Eleven Star of Bongaigaon 4-0. All four goals of the game was scored by Manjit Rabha and in this process he also completed the first hat-trick in this edition of the meet.

Eleven Star were into the game during the first half and they gave good fight to the ASEBSC. However the story was completely changed in the second half and Manjit played the lead role. He took just 14 minutes to score four goals and his first three goals came in a gap of four minutes. After the barren first half Manjit scored the first goal of the game in the 56 minutes and two minutes later he increased the margin when opponent goal keeper failed to collect his powerful shot properly. Two minutes after Manjit again scored with a nice simple touch from the left goal post. He hammered the last nail in Eleven Star's coffin when the game was 70 minutes old.
