GUWAHATI: Assam athlete Mehdi Hassan won gold medal in 1500mt race in the 21st National Fed Cup Junior Athletics Championship (U-20 category) in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. He clocked 3:49:70. The performance also helped Mehdi to qualify for the forthcoming Asian Junior Athletics Championship.
