A magical spell from Narayan Giri took him to the record book of Assam Premier Club Cricket Championship. The bowler, turned out for Cosmo Club of Tinsukia, picked up 8 wickets giving away just 10 runs in 5 overs which included one maiden. Opponent Tinsukia Cricket Academy, chasing 180 runs to win, were bowled out at paltry 24 runs.

GUWAHATI: A magical spell from Narayan Giri took him to the record book of Assam Premier Club Cricket Championship. The bowler, turned out for Cosmo Club of Tinsukia, picked up 8 wickets giving away just 10 runs in 5 overs which included one maiden. Opponent Tinsukia Cricket Academy, chasing 180 runs to win, were bowled out at paltry 24 runs.

Earlier invited to bat, Cosmo Sports Club scored 179 in 39.4 overs thanks to a nice century from Abhishek Patel (100 from 125 balls).

At Golaghat DCC Sarupathar earned a narrow one run victory over Nabojyoti Sangha Club today. In reply to Sarupathar's 164, Nabojyoti took their score to 163 before being bowled out.
