National Lawn Bowl begins in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: The 7th National and 3rd U-25 Lawn Bowl Championship got under way at Sarusajai Sports Complex here today. The championship was inaugurated by Lakhya Konwar, the Member Secretary of State Level Advisory Committee for Student and Youth Welfare.

The president of the Lawn Bowling Association of Assam Durgadas Boro was also present in the inaugural function. Altogether 178 players from 13 states are participating in the championship.
