GUWAHATI: Navajyoti Club and Sunrise Club shared points in the GSA Super Division Soccer League Football as the match between two sides ended 1-1 draw at the Nehru stadium here today. Both the sides scored their lone goal in the first half of the match.

Karuna Rava scored the first goal in the match in 23rd minutes which helped Navajyoti to go ahead. Sunrise took just five minutes to return the goal.

The result made ASESC’s job easy as a single win in their last two games would be enough for the side to retain the title. On the other hand Navajyoti too have chance to win title this season but the job is little difficult as they have to win their remaining two matches and ASEBSC have to lose their remaining two games.

After the eighth round ASEBSC are on the top of the points table with 19 points. Navajyoti are in second spot with 15 points. Sunrise collected 12 points from their eight matches and they are now out of contention of league title.
