GUWAHATI: A last minute goal helped Navajyoti Club to snatch a point from Sunrise club in the GSA RG Baruah Super Division Football League at the Nehru Stadium here today. The match ended 1-1 draw.
Sunrise, placed in second position in the points table, took the lead in the 11th minute through Sana Singh. Anis Ali scored the equalizer for Navajyoti converting a spot kick in the 5th minute of the added time.
Sunrise, played nine matches in the competition, collected 15 points and are now at second place in the points table. Navajyoti earned 11 points from their eighth appearances.
