GUWAHATI, May 30: North East Fronier team won the 4th Inter Frontier Football Competition title defeating Northern Frontier team in the finals by 5-2 at Sonapur on Wednesday. Jyotish Mainath of 49th Bn, North East Fronier was adjudged as the Best goalkeeper and Saiman Kop of 17th Bn, Northern Frontier as Best player for the competition. B Basumatary, Dean, LNIPE, was the Chief guest and B. Sarma, Asstt. Registrar, LNIPE, NER was the Special guest for the closing function. RS Chandel, Commandant, 33rd Bn ITBP also attended the closing function.
