Police Blues earn full points over Gauhati Town Club in GSA RG Baruah Super Division Football

GUWAHATI: Assam Police Blues registered a 1-0 victory over Gauhati Town Club in the GSA RG Baruah Super Division Football at the Nehru Stadium here today. The all important goal of the match was scored by Ankurjyoti Rajbongshi in 86th minute.

The defeat pushed Gauhati Town club to the danger zone of relegation. The side collected only 6 points from their 11 matches and are placed at the bottom of the table. The victory kept Assam Police Blues in third place in the points table with 16 points from 11 games.
