GUWAHATI: At a time when all major soccer tournaments of the State have been affected because of cash crunch Bodousa Sports Clubs has set an example. Eleven years back some office-bearers of the All Moran Students’ Union, with the help of Kakopathar Anchalik Krira Sangstha, started the Bodousa Cup in Tinsukia district with an aim to promote the game in that locality. From the third year Bodousa Sports Club took the responsibility to host the event and till date they are doing it nicely. In an interaction with The Sentinel the president of the Bodousa Sports Club, Arunjyoti Moran, shares the secret behind the success of the tournament. Here is the excerpt.
