Punjab thrash Assam by 158 runs in U-19 Women One Day Cricket

GUWAHATI: Punjab thrashed Assam by 158 runs in the U-19 Women One Day Cricket held at the ACA stadium, Barsapaa here today. Chasing 201 runs to win Assam were bowled out paltry 42 runs in 16.4 overs. Hemi Mili (10) was the lone batswoman who scored a double-digit run in the innings. Raman Preet Kaur and Muskan Sogi bagged five wickets each for the visitors. Earlier Kanika Ahuja (99) played a good knock and helped Punjab to score 200-5 in their 50 overs.
