Raktim Ranjan Baishya, Mridul win Pulin Das Memorial Sports quiz meet

GUWAHATI: Raktim Ranjan Baishya and Mridul Ram Kalita emerged champion in the fifth Pulin Das Memorial Open Prize-Money Sports Quiz Competition-2022 held in the city today. The contest was organized by the Guwahati Lawn Tennis Association (GLTA) at Kumar Bhaskar Natya Mandir here on December 24. Abhilash Medhi and Deepanjan Deb bagged the first runner-up prize while Deepjyoti Deka and Chandan Duorah won the second runner-up prize respectively. Altogether 31 teams from various parts of the region took part in the first stage of the competition and six teams qualified for the final round.

The top three teams were presented with cash awards of Rs 12,000, Rs. 8,000 and Rs. 6,000 respectively along with trophies. Cash awards of Rs 2,000 each were also presented to the fourth to sixth position holders.
