Ranji trophy: Assam face Uttar Pradesh from today

GUWAHATI: Assam will play their last group match in Ranji trophy from tomorrow at Kanpur. Uttar Pradesh will be their opponent in the game.

Assam, already out from the title race, made two changes in the team that played against Jammu and Kashmir in the last match. Pritam Das and Avishek Thakuri will replace Rahul Singh and Wasiqur Rahman respectively in the 15-member squad.

Earlier Assam altogether played eight matches in the competition and collected 20 points. They are now placed at the fifth position. On the other hand Uttar Pradesh are at second place with 38 points.
