Senior ID Soccer: Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) to start campaign today

GUWAHATI: Guwahati Sports Association (GSA) announced a 20-member squad for the Zone 'E' qualifying round in the 70th Senior Inter District Football Championship for Khirod Baruah Trophy. The competition got under way at Kumarikata on August 20 and 10 teams are taking part in it. Guwahati will start their campaign from the quarter final stage and in their first game the side will face Bajali tomorrow. The champion team of this zone will qualify for the final round

The squad: Bishal Sahu, Nicodim Narzary Biswanath Karmakar, Dwijoraj Boro, Langneh, Hiteswar Hazowary, Ahongshangbam Herojit Singh, Kangkan Rabha, Tridev Boro, Sourav Chakraborty, Jitul Boruah, Dhiraj Rajbongshi, Kangkan Sarania, Dipen Daimary, Arjun Mardi, Diganta Bordoloi, Ambar Chetri, Bishnu Bashfore, Biplab Nayak and Kushal Chetri. Coach: Baharul Islam. Assistant Coach: Sarfraj Hussain Manager: Kaustab Chakraborty.
