South Point School Sunday Rapid Chess concludes

GUWAHATI: Prakash Nath (Under 16 Category) and Krishnav Mrinmoy Hazarika (Under 10 category) became champion in South Point School Sunday Rapid Chess Tournament held at South Point School Barsapara today. Altogether 85 players from across the state participated in this day long tournament organised by South Point Chess Academy. The Prize distribution ceremony was attended by Krishananjan Chanda, Principal, South Point School along with Devesh Prajapati and Debjani Purkayastha of The Assam Valley School, Balipara.

The top 3 players in each of the age categories of U-6, U- 8, U-10, U-12, U-14 and U-16 were awarded trophies and certificates. The other winners in the competition: Shuvang Pran Kashyap (U-12), Karan P Deka (U-14), Naitik Deorah (U-6) and Suzein Ahmed (U-8).
