Sports University bill tabled

GUWAHATI, Sept 26: A Sports University Bill to establish and incorporate a State Sports University which will be known as Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University was tabled today at the Assam Assembly by the Parliament Affaiars Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary. He tabled the bill on behalf of Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, who also holds the portfolio of Sports and Youth Welfare. The proposed university will be constructed at Chabua.
