DIBRUGARH: A meeting organized by the Sri Sri Aniruddhadeva Sports University, Chabua here at DRDA's Jagriti Conference Hall, on Thursday where Vice-Chancellor of the sports university, Prof. J. P. Verma had interaction with the coaches of different sports disciplines of Dibrugarh District on various issues relating development of sports in the state in general and Dibrugarh District in particular.
Vice-Chancellor of the Sports University Prof.Verma was felicitated by the Dibrugarh District Karate Do Association, Dibrugarh District Handball Association and Dibrugarh District Physical Culture Association.
While addressing the meeting Prof. Verma urged upon assembled coaches of different sports disciplines to work for uplifting the sports performance of the district and the state.
The meeting hosted by the Registrar of the Sports University and District Development Commissioner, Sanjay Dutta, offered the vote of thanks. Dibrugarh District Sports Officer, Dhruba Jyoti Deka and Sub-Divisional Sports Officer, Bimal Chandra Gogoi also graced the occasion as guests.
