Stage set for Guwahati Open Junior tennis meet from January 27, 2020

GUWAHATI: Fourth edition of the Guwahati Open Junior Tennis Championship - 2020, organized by the Guwahati Lawn Tennis Association (GLTA), will be held at RG Baruah Sports Complex here from January 27. The championship will be held for both Boy’s and Girl’s Singles Under – 12, 14 and 18 years respectively. All the winners will be awarded with cash scholarships. The championship will carry a total of Rs. 1,82,000.00 as Cash Scholarship. The Boy’s and Girl’s Singles U-18 category winner will receive Rs. 10,000 and Runner-Up will receive Rs. 7,000 as cash scholarship money while in the U-14 winner will receive Rs 7,000 and Runner-Up will receive Rs. 6,000. In the U- 12 category winner will collect a purse of Rs 6,000 and Runner-Up will bag Rs. 5,000 respectively.
