Summer Cricket, Football Coaching Camp organized at Doomdooma Town Field

Doomdooma: Under the auspices of Doomdooma Cricket Coaching Centre (DCCC) in association with Tinsukia Railway Divisional Sports Club, a 22 day-long Summer Cricket Coaching Camp was organized at Doomdooma Town Field. Altogether 65 budding cricketers took part in the camp. Utpal Kalita and Rajkumar Yadav, both NCA level A coach, imparted coaching to them from July 7 to July 28. On successful completion of coaching the budding cricketers were awarded certificates, informs Somiron Gogoi, Joint Secretary, DCCC in a press release.

On the other hand, under the auspices of Doomdooma Sports Association (DSA), Summer Football Coaching Camp was organized at the town Field from July 2 to July 30.

The participants were given coaching in the morning and evening every day. In the concluding ceremony held on July 30, MLA Durga Bhumij attended as Chief Guest while Journalist Anuj Kalita, President, Tinsukia District Journalists Association and Journalist Arjun Baruah, President of the town Press Club attended as Guests of Honour and distributed certificates to the participants after conclusion of a friendly match between two teams formed among them.
