Tezpur Defeated Jorhat By 39 Runs, Entered in Semis

Guwahati: Tezpur defeated Jorhat by 39 runs and entered into the semi final of the RG Baruah Inter-District Cricket Championship at Barpeta today. Two bowlers of either side- Kalyan Borgohain (Jorhat 8-15 in the second innings) and Derhasa Boro (Tezpur,12-36 in the match) came out with solid performance in the game.

Brief scores:Tezpur 1st innings 95, Jorhat 1st innings 66, Tezpur 2nd innings 93 (45.1 overs), AbhijitBhadra 35, KalyanBorgohain 8-15, Jorhat 2nd innings 83 (30.2 overs), PremVerma 26, DerhasaBoro 6-27, Result: Tezpur won by 39 runs. Tomorrow's Match: 1st semi final- NFRSA vs Nagaon.
