United Karate-Do Association Assam (UKAA) felicitates Medal winners

GUWAHATI: The United Karate-Do Association Assam (UKAA) felicitated all the medal winners of the 5th South Asian Karate Championship, Dhaka and Sharjah Open International Karate Championship, UAE in a brief function held at AOA conference hall here today. Ishita Kashyap won Silver medal in South Asian Karate, Advik Majumdar bagged a gold and a silver while Ashish Talukdar collected a bronze medal in Sharhah meet. Senior Sports Organizer Premadhar Sarma and several other office bearers of the Assam Olympic association attended the felicitation.

Meanwhile, the Extended Executive meeting of UKAA, held today, has decided to organize the 7th edition of the North East Karate Championship from December 21-22 in Guwahati. Around 600 players from seven different states of the North East will participate in the championship.
