GUWAHATI: Veteran Cricket Association of Assam (VCAA) today donated Rs 2,38,600 to the CM Relief Fund to bolster the vaccination drive undertaken by the Assam Government against COVID-19. A team of Veteran Cricket Association of Assam (VCAA) which included office bearers and former cricketers including Badal Thakur today met Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma at Administrative Staff College, Khanapara and handed over the cheque to him. The secretary of the Veteran Cricket Association of Assam Nasir Gul Khan informed the media that the donation amount was a result of the collective effort of the members of the sports fraternity of the State, who made handsome contributions to the noble cause. Other members of the VCAA, who were the part of today's team, were President Naba Konwar, Working President Pranab Sharma, Vice President Subhrajit Saikia, General Secretary Nasir Gul Khan and Joint Secretary Sajjad Zaheer Hussain.
