Veteran Athlete Mohitri Handique Felicitated For Glorious Achievement

SIVASAGAR: Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner Dr. MS Lakshmi Priya felicitated renowned veteran athlete Mohitri Handique on Wednesday. While interacting with Mohitri Handique at the DC’s Office chamber, the deputy commissioner congratulated her for her glorious achievements in the sporting arena and making the state proud, and wished her a healthy and long life. Born in 1935, Mohitri Handique was the winner of 800/1500 meters race in the Assam Masters Athletics Championships. She bagged three gold medals in each of the events she had participated so far.
