Veteran Cricket Association of Assam (VCAA) today celebrated the 89th birthday of the former Cricketer Badal Thakur at his residence at Uzanbazar in the city.

GUWAHATI: Veteran Cricket Association of Assam (VCAA) today celebrated the 89th birthday of the former Cricketer Badal Thakur at his residence at Uzanbazar in the city. Thakur represented Assam in the 17 First Class matches and also led the State team for the season 1957-58 and 1961-62. Several officials of the Veteran Cricket Association of Assam were present at the function.
