Zakaria named coach for senior state team

GUWAHATI, July 13: Former captain of Assam Zakaria Zuffri will coach Assam Senior Cricket team this season. He will replace Lalchand Rajput. The Assam Cricket Association announced the name of coaches and selection panel for the forthcoming season. The association also brought new set of officials in the Assam Cricket Academy. Former coach of senior cricket team Subhrajit Saikia will be the Director of Assam Cricket Academy. On the other hand Satyagopal Chakraborty, Jayanta Choudhury and Nazreen Ahmed were named as the chairperson of senior, Junior and women Selection committee.
