IED Blast Reported From Imphal, Investigation Underway

Imphal: A suspected IED blast took place in the wee hours of Wednesday in Manipur's Imphal east region on Wednesday.

Reportedly, the blast took place in front of godown at around 3:30 AM today.

However, no casualties have been reported so far from the incident and investigations are underway.

After the information of the same, the police along with a team of forensic experts rushed to the spot and the police cordoned off the area.

Notably, so far, no militant group has taken the responsibility for the blast.

Interestingly, a similar incident too rocked the city on December 15.
