Imphal East district administration made e-passes mandatory for air passengers now

IMPHAL: The Imphal East district administration has made e-pass mandatory for air passengers reaching the district. The e-passes would be mandatory from October 31 post the discontinuation of HRD Academy as a 'Transit Quarantine Centre' for air passengers. Imphal East Deputy Commissioner, KhDaina has issued a notification in this regard. The passengers can log in to — https://imphaleast.nic.in/services/ for availing the e-pass at least one day prior to the date of arrival. If due to any unavoidable circumstances, the air passengers heading for the district could not apply for the e-pass prior to their arrival, they can access the online facility from the arrival lounge of the airport. They will then have to proceed to the district testing centre mentioned in the e-pass for mandatory COVID testing.
