Manipur's Joya Sapam wins IAWA Miss India 2020

Imphal: Joya Sapam was crowned the IAWA Miss India 2020, IAWA Miss Best Catwalk 2020 and the IAWA Miss Photogenic 2020 award as well. Sapam Susmita Devi was judged the 1st runners up.

National Director of IAWA India Beauty Pageant Bhomechand Khaba, said this year for the first time, Manipur won a title in IAWA Miss India 2020.

Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, most of the beauty pageants have got cancelled this year. BK Events & Entertainment collaborating with IAWA India organized the pageant online.

IAWA MISS INDIA is an Indian pageant that provides a platform that encompasses an incredible voyage and get to experience a pageant like never before.

"We provide a platform in modeling and acting with the support of NGO IAWA," IAWA said in a release.

IAWA India has established itself as an organization with intense value and consistency based on the foundation of inclusion and network of support to boost and mould you into a humanistic icon.

According to reports, over 600 women from across India had contested for this beauty pageant. Several tasks with deadlines were given to participants along with a grooming session from July 20 to August 2.
