Man from Assam found dead in Aizawl tests negative for coronavirus

GUWAHATI: Madhuriya Bhuyan, a 36-year-old senior audit officer who was found dead in his rented apartment in Mizoram’s Aizawl has tested negative for coronavirus.

According to reports, he was living alone in his rented apartment. He had developed a fever the previous night and the next day he was found dead.

It is suspected that he might have died from cardiac arrest.

He had sent his wife and kids to his hometown in February.
