23 Year Old Hikali Achumi Becomes Miss Nagaland 2022

KOHIMA: Hikali Achumi, a 23-year-old Zunheboto resident, was named Miss Nagaland 2022 on Friday at a spectacular ceremony held at Kohima's Capital Cultural Hall.

First, runner-up Kenei Ritse from Phek and second runner-up Jentiren from Mokokchung also received their awards.

Kenei Ritse and Jentiren each received INR 70,000 in prize money, while Hikali Achumi took home INR 1,00,000 lakh. The founders of Doterra First India, Imnasenla and Peter Vero, as well as SVEEP State election Icon, Chief Electoral Office, also gave the recipients gift baskets.

The Chief Electoral Office (CEO) of Nagaland provided help, together with the Tourism Department of the Government of Nagaland, TaFMA, and the Beauty and Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN) in organizing the event.

Irene Dkhar, Miss Northeast 2022 and Miss Meghalaya 2022, Eshanee Hatimuria, Miss Northeast 2022 1st runner-up and Miss Assam 2022, Lhouvi Mezhur, Manager Commonwealth War Graves Commission, and Theja Therieh, Proprietor Multiplex and Former Treasurer of BASN served as the guest judges for the evening. Other judges from the state included Dr. Abeny Khuvung, and Miss Diva Universe.

According to the sources the winners of sub-titles are-

•Miss Photogenic is Phek's Kenei Ritse. She received INR 10,000 sponsored by Drift Basket.

•Miss Perfect 10 is Dimapur native Chochoi Lhoujem. Oriental Fitness & Spa, De Oriental Grand, sponsored her with INR 10,000.

•Ketu-u Pfusenuo from Kohima, Miss Talent. She was given INR 10,000 and free membership at the Symphony Academy of Music for a year.

•Jentiren, Miss Beautiful Skin. She received 10,000 Indian rupees from Beauty Barn.

•Hikali Achumi: Miss Multimedia. Sponsored Symphony Academy of Music gave her INR 10,000.

•Hikali Achumi is crowned Miss Beautiful Smile. She was given INR 10,000 by the Kekhro Smile Foundation along with gift baskets and became an ambassador for the charity.

•Linovi P. Kiba, Miss Queen of Hearts. M/s East Builders Enterprises supported her with a gift of INR 10,000.
