Assessment camps for children in the age group of six to 18 years with special needs from May 16 to 22 in Nagaland

KOHIMA: Assessment camps for children with special needs in the age group of six to 18 years will be held from May 16 to 22 in 10 districts across the State. The programme is being organized by Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan/Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland Education Mission Society, Nagaland in collaboration with the following stakeholders: Department of Health and Family Welfare, Star Key New Delhi and Nagaland Research Rehabilitation Centre (NRRC) Dimapur, Department of Social Welfare, stated a release. Special children in need of aids and appliances have been requested to attend the assessment camps. For hearing-impaired children, hearing aids will be provided on the spot. For other disabilities, assistive devices will be provided under Samagra Shiksha after completion of the assessment camp.
