Save Dzuvuru Campaign

KOHIMA: The Kohima Village Students' Union in an attempt to act upon their envisioned year theme "Clean Kohima" will be initiating a cleanliness drive in certain parts of Kohima. It is quite appalling to see that Kohima which was once praised for its scenic beauty and close-knit community has been deemed the 2nd most 'Unlivable City in India' (Ease of Living Index, MoHUA, Govt. of India 2018). Retrospective of this grave situation, the KVSU has taken up a project to identify the part in the capital which is in its most unlikely and deplorable shape. Proceeding with this plan, the areas adjoining the Dzüvürü stream were identified to be at its most crucial stage. Hence, the "Save Dzuvuru Campaign" evolved spearheaded by the Kohima Village Students' Union. The campaign will be officially launched June 5, stated a DIPR release.
